Titanic Town Belfast Walking Tour
|
As evening falls over Belfast, step into the human stories behind the world’s most famous ship. This unique dark tourism walking tour moves beyond the engineering marvel of Titanic to focus on the lives—and fates—of the passengers and crew connected to the city. Led by renowned Titanic expert and author Peter Fox, this unique evening walking tour through Belfast city centre explores the personal stories of those who built, sailed on, and never returned from the ill-fated liner as well as the construction and launch of the famous ship. Walk through historic streets and landmarks as the city lights glow, and hear the moving accounts of shipyard workers, stewards, engineers, emigrants, and families whose lives were forever linked to Titanic. From tales of bravery and sacrifice to the harsh realities faced by those below deck, this tour brings the human side of the tragedy into sharp focus. With expert insight, rare details, and powerful storytelling, Peter Fox offers a respectful, thought-provoking look at the people behind the headlines including new research discoveries on the human tragedy that befell over 1500 passengers and crew.
